Sue booked me in (via Julian Marsh) to play the tunes for her 60th Birthday at the Ebbisham Squash Club in Epsom,Surrey.
A great little club, where i used to play Squash at my self and i've been the DJ at several parties there in the past.Sue left it to me withth music choice, she had around 70 people at the party(Including some young family members who liked my lights) A mix of mid seventies music was played to start, followed by some Eighties and Nineties.A few guests asked for requests, including Madness,Usher, and the Weather Girls.
I played some newer tracks which went down well, including sophie Ellis Bexter with her new one,Jess Glynne,Calvin Harris and Justin Timberlake with a few Bruno Mars tracks. As the night went on i played some party classics, such as The Gap Band-oops upside your head,Dexy's Midnight Runners-Eileen,Black Eyed Pees,Outkast,The Specials,Billy Ocean and the Four Seasons
The cake was cut around 10.30pm and we all sang Sue Happy Birthday followed by Stevie Wonder(of cousrse!) then back to the party songs, which included The Foundations-Build me up Buttercup,Mud-Tiger Feet,Tina Turner-Simply the Best and the Monkees-Daydream Believer the evening ended around 11.45pm with Suie saying her goodbyes to her friends and family.
