PWSA Charity Ball

Shivaun and Marina booked me for their charity Winter Ball which is held every two years at the picturesque Epsom Downs.

They chose the Derby Suite which is in the Queens Stand on the 3rd floor where about a hundred guests gathered for drinks and chatted before sitting down at their places for dinner.I played a number of Christmas songs followed by some early Seventies soul as background to begin.Raffle tickets were sold and a few speeches were made straight after the meal for the charity.

An auction which included a signed football from Chelsea FC took place before the dancing,the guests were of a lively nature and boogied until nearly 1am to the likes of the Bee Gees,Billy Ocean,Candi Staton,The Isley Brothers,The Four Seasons,Jackson 5,Gloria Gaynor,Weather Girls,Abba,Nolan Sisters,The Jam,Roy Wood,Wham and Frank Sinatra.

Just for the record the girls told me that they raised Five Thousand Pounds.

Every wedding is a little different so I have no set price - just a rough idea to work with would be £300 for a four hour set (this price includes lasers, lights and set up time which is approx.50 minutes)
