Jackie 60th Birthday

  • Jackie's daughter Alice contacted me about her Mum's suprise 60th Birthday party which was to be held at the Epsom club,Church road,Epsom on 20th April.
  • Alice had sent me a list of Jackie's favourtite songs for the occassion,the plan was to take Jackie to the club and tell her it was to pop in for a drink before going out for her Birthday but could everyone keep the secret?
  • She arrived at just gone 7pm and was greeted by her friends and family to a happy birthday rendition followed by Stevie Wonder's happy birthday and she was completely suprised!
    • Jackie is a big Osmonds fan so we had to include One bad apple and Love me for a reason in the early air play.During the first part of the evening people were chatting at the bar and outside in the lovely gardens the club has,after half hour or so some more lively songs were played first from the Seventies,including Earth wind and fire's September,The Trammps Disco Inferno,Sister sledge-We are family plus Barry Wite's First,last my everything,later on there were some more Seventies including the Osmond's Crazy horses.
      • Lots of Eighties classics were amongst jackie's favourites including Michael jackson,Lionel Richie-Dancing on the ceiling,Rocky nhorror show's Time warp,Whitney Houston's I wanna dance with someboday and Cyndi Lauper's Girls just wanna have fun
        • Some oldies from the sixties went down well including the Beatles twist and Shout,Bill Hailey,Monkees's -I'm a beleiver,Jackie Wilson-Higher and higher and Manfred Mann also Sam Cooke's twisting the night away.
        • other floor fillers were played including Black Eyed pees,Grease megamix,the Macarena,Bruno Mars,towards the end a mini Abba tribute as it was 50 years since waterloo won the 1974 Eurovision song contest,the evening came to a close with another playing of the osmonds love me for a reason,The Proclaimers-500 miles,Van morrisson's Brown eyed girl,Sweet Caroline and the fabalous Build me up Buttercup by the Foundations.

    Pricing:

    Every wedding is a little different so I have no set price - just a rough idea to work with would be £295 for a four hour set (this price includes lasers, lights and set up time which is approx.50 minutes)
