Tim and Nina booked me to play the music at their wedding celebration which was held in their garden in Epsom,Surrey.
I arranged an initial visit to see where to set up and which route to bring my equipment through and of course what music they would both like. The big day was on Saturday 14th September ,when I arrived the caterers were set up and Tim and Nina had tied the knot at the registery office,my colleague and I set up to start the background music just before 2.30pm,many guests arrived and enjoyed the late Summer sunshine in the large garden,i was set up in a large marquee and I occasionally went in to the garden to check the mucic wasn't too loud for the guests.A selection of classical music and some summer tunes were played until about 4.30pm when some David Guetta songs started the dancing.
This was followed by the speeches ,some guests stayed in the marquee whilst others went back into the garden to mingle, they soon came back to dance when the light faded and it became cooler.I played a selection of Eighties and some Seventies songs which went down well. The grooms dad asked for some of the Shadows and other requests were Fleetwood Mac,Oasis,Earth,Wind and Fire plus the Spice Girls. The evening ended just after 11pm going out with Billy Joel's Uptown Girl.
